212, what’s that mean?
212 degrees is the temp. @ which water boils. So, we talk a lot about what it
means to live a 212 life. How we keep our relationship with Christ at that level
that is has affect on those around us and to make sure that we don’t dip to a 211
life.
Check out rev.3:15-17 for results of the 211 life.
[15] “I know you inside and out, and find little to my liking. You're not cold,
you're not hot—far better to be either cold or hot! [16] You're stale. You're
stagnant. You make me want to vomit. [17] You brag, 'I'm rich, I've got it made, I
need nothing from anyone,' oblivious that in fact you're a pitiful, blind beggar,
threadbare and homeless.”
Rev. 3:15-17 (MsgB)

The Mission
Ephesians 4:11 & 12
“It was He who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be
evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for
works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.”
The Purpose
It is the ideal that through this discipleship and training program students that
will gain a greater understanding of their role in the church and their role in the
world as God prompts them and guides them to leadership.
The Qualification
You must have completed the 9th grade. Your involvement requires you to be
an active member of this church and youth group. You must be willing to serve
both Jr. and Sr. High students through retreats, fund raisers, food preparation,
clean up and possibly leading devotions/discussions. And an attitude that
reflects Christ in all situations; those that are easy and difficult.

This is a gathering for parents to come and converse & ask questions of what’s
going on with their kids. We have tried to not make these gatherings all
information and calendar stuff, but more of a discussion thing where we'll bring
some bits of student ministry stuff, culture, music, or what’s happening with
students and open things up for discussion.
