Baby Bottle Boomerang
The Missions Committee is again passing out Baby Bottles to help support Pregnancy Service of Gratiot County.
These Baby Bottles will be passed out on Sunday, May 9th (Mother's Day), and will be collected by Sunday, June 20th
(Father's Day). Each family that takes a bottle fills it with change, dollar bills, or even a check. Please partner with
Pregnancy Services for this important fund raiser.
Kentucky Summer Work Camp
Dates: July 7-16 Cost: $300/person
Value: Immeasurable!
This work camp will involve some home repair, working with the local kids & organizing/stocking the donation
warehouse. The work camp is not just for the highly skilled worker or students. 212StudentMinistries is working
together with the Mission Team of the church to provide an experience for the whole church. There will be an
informational meeting for anyone interested in joining the team on Sunday, June 13th during the Sunday School hour
in the sanctuary.
Relay For Life
Everyone is invited to the Relay for Life event at the St. Louis High School on August 13th & 14th.
Each year the list of those with cancer continues to grow at an alarming pace. The reason I relay is to join those who
have survived cancer, remember those who have lost their battle, and to support the American Cancer Society. When
you make a donation you are helping deliver the hope that future generations will not have to endure cancer
threatening the lives of their friends and family.
This is the 10th year the Edgewood Church of God has had a team. If you would like to help in this cause you can
sign up online, just click on Join a Team and sign in under Edgewood Church of God. You can also use this site to
sign up for the Survivor ceremony but don't wish to join a team. If you don't want to go online, contact me and i will
help you.
